RBBC Women's Ministries

Welcome to Rancho Bernardo Baptist Church Women’s Ministries.  As followers of His word, we strive for what is true, noble, right, pure lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy (Phil. 4:8).  God is at work all around us, and within us. 

RBBC Women’s Ministries offers a God focused set of programs that are warm and welcoming.  Our annual events include: “High Tea”, Mother/Daughter – Mother’s and Others Banquet, Fall Fiesta, and the December Ornament Exchange Potluck.  Each of these events includes an inspirational speaker, food, and fun!

Our Mother’s HEARTS program offers an opportunity where mothers of young children can take an evening away and join others who want to warm their hearts and dump their cares.  Real people share real life as topics of interest are discussed.  This is a wonderful time of relaxation, fellowship, and fun with other Christian women. 

Other programs include scrapbooking, quilting, and Operation Christmas Child.  These programs are designed to be fun, friendly, comfortable, and inviting.  Here we can come together and share the wealth of our time and talents.

Bible studies are a major part of our Women’s Ministry.  We do not live by bread alone, but on every word from the mouth of God (Matt 4:4).  His words are useful in our lives for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training (2Tim 3:16).  It is important to study the truth and to use it to guide our lives.

Dining-out has been a particularly popular program.  Once a month the ladies of the church meet at a local restaurant and enjoy a meal and get a chance to catch up on each others lives.  Each month we pick a different restaurant and just enjoy.

RBBC Women’s Ministries organizes an annual women’s retreat for the women of the church.  This is a time of spiritual renewal, worship, teaching, quiet time, prayer, fellowship, and small group interaction. 

Overall, Women’s Ministry is a foundationally focused group with a purposeful mission and an infectious faith.  We are a group of people who seek to carry out the tasks prepared for us through Scriptural foundations, and prayerful focus on God as we strive to do what honors Him.  In this commitment we provide opportunities for authentic encounters where love, appreciation, grace, mercy, learning and encouragement abound.
